BEACH OF ATACAMES

Location: Atacames Beach is located to the southwest of the province of Esmeraldas, on the northwestern coast of Ecuador.   Atacames is surrounded by    coconut palms. At a distance of 300 meters you     willfind the estuary, which          conserves mangrove. At the southern       end is the rock ofthe suicidal, a natural    viewpoint of limestone formation that has a height of 80meters and separates the   beaches of Súa and Atacames. At low tide you can cross from one beach to another bordering the rock. 

Description: This is a large beach with a slight slope that has a  length of approximately 4 kilometres and is widened towards the ends.  The water is transparent green, and the sand is thin in light grey, mixed withConchilla in some sections. In the waters of Atacames you     can perform activitiessuch as paragliding, surfing, water sky, boat rides or jet skis.  To the Malecon are the Cabañas Caipiriñeras where you can enjoy varied musicand cocktails. During the night these cabins turn into outdoor nightclubs.
