DIMENSIONS.- It comprises 10,000 m parallel to the sea and 1,000 m wide, that is 1 ha.
At low tide the beach is discovered 1 km. In length.
WATER QUALITY:
Color: dark gray
Temperature: 25º C.
Transparency: 20 cm.
FLORA:
Red mangrove, made up of small groupings in the form of stands of 1.50 m. High; Black mangrove, constituted by individuals of 4 m high. Many regenerants of this type of mangroves are found under the few existing mangrove stands.
WILDLIFE:
When the beach is exposed at low tide you can see:
Concha prieta (Anadara tuberculosa)
striped shell (Anadara sp)
DESCRIPTION OF THE LANDSCAPE. - Located west of Puerto Bolívar, its front faces the great expanse of waters of the Gulf of Guayaquil.
Diagonal to this beach is the Island of Love. In the back of the beach there are shrimp pools, the same ones that have been built in what corresponds to salitral, sandy formation typical of these areas of the mangrove.
The attraction has rustic infrastructure for presentations or dances during the season, lacking sanitary infrastructure to face an audience of more than 100 people, which it receives during the Carnival and Easter Week.
WIDE OF YOUR BEACH. Active Zone: 300 m. approximately, the beach is observed at low tide.
Passive Zone: 80 m approximately, occupied by the services.

QUALITY OF THE SAND.- The original sand of this beach is of coarse texture, in addition it has been added river sand to improve the soil.
