San Gregorio Island has a large beach, white waves and a mangrove frame; ideal place to sunbathe and sea,
hiking, fishing, beach games, camping, observe pelicans, blue footed boobies, gulls and frigates.
Extension
The extension of San Gregorio Island is around 2 hectares.
The width of the active zone is 5 - 10 meters and the passive zone is 8 meters.
Location
This is located in the Jambelí archipelago, one hour from the Hualtaco port.
From Costa Rica, sailing 10 minutes offshore, you arrive at San Gregorio Island.
Weather
It has a tropical coastal climate, with a temperature that ranges between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius.
Wildlife
You can see a variety of marine birds such as: black manglero, huaco, crabeater, kingfisher, seagulls,
pelicans, frigate birds, mangrove redfish, stilt, little white heron, blue heron, great white heron, gray heron.
In the sea we find: Black shell, mule paw shell, crabs, fiddler crab, red crab, spider crab, tailor crab.
Flora
In the place we find the same great variety of flora that in the archipelago being this the coconut, black mangrove, maritime canavalia, red mangrove, muyuyo, among others.
