BEACHES OF SALINAS


It is an Ecuadorian city; cantonal head of the Salinas Canton, as well as the largest and least populated city of the Province of Santa Elena. It is located in the center-south of the coastal region of Ecuador, on the edge of Santa Elena, which is the western end of continental Ecuador, at an altitude of 8 masl and with a tropical dry climate of 25 ° C on average. It is the closest spa in Guayaquil, its wide beaches are always full of large numbers of domestic and foreign tourists looking to enjoy a refreshing swim, then taste an exquisite variety of seafood. Part of the landscape is comprised of artisanal fishermen who are seen in large numbers alongside their small boats. Nearby is Data and Posorja where the practice of surfing is taking more and more tourists. Its boardwalk has all the services, social clubs and museums. As a well-developed tourist site, important international beauty and automobile competitions are held. It is called the "Blue Paradise of the South Pacific" because of its privileged geographic location, for which, the city is considered the most important seaside resort in the country.

The Balneario de Salinas is 5 km from La Libertad and a few meters from Salinas.

Its beach has an extension of 15 km.
